Determine operating system bit count online – use two applications simultaneously to get the most accurate result

There are two mutually independent online applications (detectors) on this page. They will determine whether you have a 32-bit or 64-bit operating system installed on your computer. The first application works with JavaScript technology and analyzes information from your browser. The second application works based on Flash technology, analyzes information about the architecture of your processor, and compares it with the type of operating system. The use of two analyzers simultaneously allows you to achieve absolute accuracy of the bit determination.

This online application is free and does not require registration. All you need to do to use it is to open this webpage. You will immediately see the results under the titles “JavaScript detector” and “Flash detector.”

Each application can display only one of two OS bit versions: 32-bit and 64-bit. If the left and right values are the same, there is no doubt that the result is correct. Occasionally, it is possible to see that the left and right results are different. This means that, most likely, you are using a 32-bit system on a 64-bit processor.
